Local trunk-or-treat events to satisfy those ghoulish grumblings

Businesses, organizations and other local groups are hosting candy giveaways around the Kanawha Valley.

N

early all municipalities and unicorporated areas of Kanawha County will hold public trick-or-treating on Halloween night (Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m., per the County Commission). But that doesn't mean that there are no treats to be had before then.

If the good little ghouls in your life are dying to get a jump start on the holiday (see what I did there?), there's bound to be a hootenanny happening somewhere near you.

Here are 29 trunk-or-treat events happening across the Kanawha Valley in the days leading up to Halloween. All events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
