ain Street in Clendenin will be filled with Jeeps and Broncos this weekend, and officials are encouraging locals to join the jam.
Clendenin, located along the Elk River in northern Kanawha County, will host its second-annual Jeep Jam and Bronco Bash on Aug. 24. The cruise-in style event takes place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday.
"Businesses will be open, local food vendors will be set up, music will be playing and door prizes will be given," organizers said.
One of the businesses participating in Saturday's bash is the newly-opened restaurant Pizza on Main. The locally-owned carry-out pizza shop, launched earlier this month, serves authentic New York-style pizza.
"We will be serving a 'Huge Slice' with a drink for just $5," Pizza on Main owners said in a Facebook post.
Representatives of the West Virginia Jeep Club will provide an RTI ramp for use by event participants.
Following the Jam and Bash, Main Street's Clendenin Brewing will host live music from 6-9 p.m.
This year marks the second annual Jeep Jam and Bronco Bash, organized by the town of Clendenin. The first, held in 2023, drew 40 vehicles, officials said.
